DETROIT July 24 Selection of a jury for the murder trial of William Schweitzer and three women companions charged with the staying of Howard Carter Dickinson, prominent New York attorney, continued today with the state confident it would present the first of its 65 witnesses before the close of the session. Although 14 women and one man remained in the jury box, none had been accepted. Three defense attorneys had exercised 19 of 60 challenges and the state but one. Defense lawyers indicated that confessions of the four would be repudiated.

Band Concert Moves Indoors in Court Room in Springfield
Rain forced the Masone Home Boys Band to relocate a planned outdoor concert in front of the Springfield court house to Court Room No. 1.
