Orman E. McVicker 83 of Montgomery Alabama and formerly Spencer died July 12 2021. He was born December 31 1937 in Lodi son of Earl and Ella Mae McVicker. He played baseball and basketball at Spencer High School class of 1956 worked for Ford Motors and Lear Siegler and served in the U S Army 1961 1963. Survived by son Jonathan McVicker and family. Visitation July 27 2021 with a noon memorial at Parker Funeral Home Spencer.

Fire destroys condo unit as investigators probe origin
Firefighters fought the blaze with aerial ladders and hand lines for about 45 minutes. The condo roof collapsed. A state fire marshal was investigating the cause and origin on Thursday. Fire units from Avon, Westlake, North Olmsted, and Olmsted Township assisted.
