Employed as a cashier at Ponderosa in Wellington, she had ballet and tap training and liked animals. Survivors include father Jim McGinnis of Lorain, mother Susan Horwedel of Wellington, brother Robert McGinnis of Lorain, maternal grandfather Robert Martin of Lorain, paternal grandparents Edward C. and Eleanor McGinnis, and maternal grandmother Virginia Martin.
