Tragic Turnpike Crash Kills Five in Michigan Family
A Michigan family of seven traveling on the Ohio Turnpike near exit 8 lost all but one member when a two vehicle crash with a tractor trailer killed the parents Joan and Thomas Griffin and four daughters Maureen Colleen Kathleen and Meagan. Twelve year old Kelli Griffin survived and is in critical condition after surgery. The driver of the semi truck was treated and released. Investigators believe the crash may have been caused by fatigue and the turnpike resurfacing project delayed traffic. The family hailed from Brighton Michigan and were connected to Brighton High School through two sisters.

Two Lorain Officers Face Action After Man’s Death

Sorensen aged 36 from Spotsylvania Virginia, shot and killed himself outside St Joseph Hospital after police arrested him on East 28th Street and Pearl Avenue.
