Truck Driver Seriously Injured In Interstate Crash
Wellington Ohio area report says Elwood Whitinger of Charlotte Michigan was unconscious after his large Interstate semi loaded with guns left the road near the John A Burge farm five miles east of Wellington and tipped into a gulley. Two Fugitives Captured Near Avon Lake

The first poliomyelitis case in the Belden region is Ruth Deimling 20 who became ill Wednesday night and was admitted Thursday morning to Akron Children’s Hospital placed in an oxygen tent. Water Line Project Approved by County Commissioners
County commissioners approved a 562-foot water line from the main on North Ridge Road to Elyria-Lorain Packing Co property. The company will pay an additional $104 assessment for the extended service area. current supply comes from a private two-inch line tapping the Elyria water main about 1,600 feet away. The plan includes a four-inch line to the nearer main, serving fronting property along North Ridge Road.
