Symptoms include tenderness swelling and numbness followed by aching pain. Also notes social notes about Miss Wilda Moore and others vacationing with Akron connections.

Bruises and Their Healing Stages in Injury

A compact description explains bruising progression from red to purple black green and lemon color as blood pools under skin. It notes deeper injuries cause delayed discoloration, with pain varying by tissue damage and swelling from torn vessels.

Care for Bruises and Contusion Guidance for Nonsurgical Care

Advice on bruise care emphasizes rest and quiet, elevation, compression to control swelling, and cold applications for relief. It warns that severe contusions to the abdomen chest or skull require caution and that rapid blood loss or a large clot demands careful handling to avoid complications. Gentle joint massage and passive motion help prevent stiffness, but avoid massage if bleeding is extensive.
