Three swept over Yosemite Falls presumed dead
A man and a woman crossed a barricade at Vernal Fall to a rock above the Merced River. The woman slipped and the man fell to try to save her, followed by another hiker. Hasan drops civilian attorney in Fort Hood case
Fort Hood Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan severed ties Wednesday with his lead civilian attorney eight months before a military trial that could seek the death penalty. Texas inmate Mark Stroman executed for killing clerk
