Appeals court orders new hearings over golf club property value
The 9th District Court of Appeals in Akron ruled for Durham Ridge Investments, owners of Grey Hawk Golf Club in LaGrange, and ordered Lorain County Common Pleas Court to hold additional hearings after finding the trial court misapplied evidence regarding the 2010 property valuation. Lorain City Council voted unanimously to deny rezoning the former DeLuca's Place in the Park at 6075 Middle Ridge Road from B-2 to B-3 for a halfway house run by True Freedom Ministries subsidiary Prospero Reentry.
