Elyria Pressing Ahead With City Improvement Plan

Elyria begins resurfacing under a two mill levy approved in May, costing about 78000 with 22000 left from the original 100000 allocation. Projects include curb and sidewalk upgrades, Broad St. work by Ohio Fuel Gas Co., revised parking meters, a large sewage plant nearing completion, two new pools and an artificial ice rink, and new apartment and hotel developments.
