Elyria Schools seek emergency levy in November
Elyria Schools vote unanimously to place a 4.9 mill emergency operating levy on the November ballot after a $3 million budget cut. The levy would raise about $4.34 million yearly, costing a $70 000 home about $10 more monthly and a $100 000 home about $14.29 more monthly. District officials say the measure preserves current operations without adding expenses.
