Riverbend Homes tax deal back on track in Elyria
Elyria Mayor Bill Grace says the Riverbend Homes Project is back on track with a revised tax increment financing agreement. Ninety eight market rate homes priced 169000 to 199000 were stalled over land sale terms involving New Sunrise Properties and the Sommers family. If the deal fails the city risks over 80000 in legal costs, while officials emphasize the project would diversify housing and raise school performance through a mixed income neighborhood.

Cleveland based KeyCorp reported second quarter earnings up 8 percent to 334 million dollars or 84 cents a share for the quarter ended June 30, beating Thomson Financial estimates of 70 cents.
