IBM profits soar but fail to meet Wall Street hopes

Airlines poised to hike fares across the board
American Airlines retreated from a 35 percent fare rise in 830 markets but all carriers planned a 4.4 percent increase overall. Domestic fares were set to rise about 10 to 20 dollars, with a United Chicago to Los Angeles one way fare moving from 290 to 300. Absentee deadline is August 1 with all applications due by then. Voters may apply in person at Elyria 115 Cedar St or Lorain 2158 Broadway or mail a written request including name voting residence reason for absence and ballot mailing address plus a signature.
