Fruehauf to appeal conviction in tax fraud case
Lawyers for Fruehauf Corp and its chief executives say they will appeal a jury verdict finding the company and two top officers liable for back taxes interest and fines totaling up to 60 million dollars in the largest tax fraud case in Justice Department history. The four month federal trial concluded with convictions and possible prison terms.
