Jackson used N-word on off air during Obama attack

The Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word during a break in a TV interview criticizing Barack Obama. Fox News confirmed the incident and a statement from Jackson apologized to Obama, his family, and the public. Rainbow/PUSH could not confirm the slur.

California Supreme Court declines Prop 8 case

The California Supreme Court unanimously refuses to hear a challenge to a ballot measure to ban same sex marriage. If voters approve Prop 8 it would define marriage as between a man and a woman and overrule the state’s prior legalization.
