Serbs Reject Bosnia Peace Plan Amid Rising Fighting
NATO and U N generals met in Zagreb to map strategy as Bosnian Serbs oppose the U S backed peace plan dividing the republic. The plan would grant 51 percent to the Muslim Croat federation while Serbs seek union with Serbia Montenegro. Fighting continued in Bosnia and Croatia with a UN troop pullout threat if the plan fails. Local Serb leaders insist the right to unite with Serbia remains non negotiable. A four week cease fire holds though violations persist and clashes rise in Bihac.
