Juror York’s defense attorney comments on murder case

In Lorain County Ohio, Ken Ortner, defense attorney for York, said the investigation was the shortest he has faced yet while detailing two hours of discussion with York. The coroner confirmed Thomas died from multiple gunshot wounds, with bullets fragments recovered. Police say York, last seen with Thomas in October 2002, led investigators to a field in Pittsfield Township where Thomas’ body was buried. York, serving life without mercy for a separate 2012 triple murder, remains in custody awaiting further legal action.
