Campbell Mystery Battling After 25 Days
After 25 days a man named Robert Campbell vanished from Falon Township. Reports of a possible sighting and searches of a quarry near Columb Township followed, with his 1950 DeSoto sedan and a deep-water dive effort funded by public subscriptions totaling 427 dollars. Campbell, 6 feet 2 inches, 230 pounds with dark hair and eyes, left work at Western and Southern Life Insurance after a day touring the office in Elyria. Authorities and neighbors ponder whether foul play, amnesia, or a voluntary disappearance explains his absence, with no confirmed sighting since that day. His wife, Mrs Campbell, received money from the search fund after divers failed to locate the car.
