Blood bank leaves EMH for new home in Elyria
Lorain County Blood Bank moves from Elyria Memorial Hospital after 45 years to a 17 000 square foot East Bridge Street site at 333 E Bridge St. The $398 000 purchase and $100 000 outfitting fund development expand capacity to six locations. Opening enhances donor access and splits collection with the old mobile drive now about half the total. Buddy was set to be the first donor after a year’s wait.
