Ford to pay dividend for first time in seven quarters
Ford Motor Co says cost cutting and stronger sales will allow a dividend of 30 cents a share for the third quarter, its first since early 1982. Chairman Philp Caldwell cites operating-cost reductions and new products as the basis for the payout.
