Jim and Amy Mollison aim to circle the globe by year end, seeking a suitable aircraft. If a single plane is unavailable they may attempt the feat in two small planes while staying together, flying England to Australia then across the Pacific via Fiji and Layton, then across North America and back to England totaling about 27,900 miles. She recalls her solo flight to Australia and notes the plan requires carrying fuel for 3,000 miles, a heavy load for a two seat plane, and mentions their frequent quarrels in flight as part of the marriage dynamic.
