Libby entered a train compartment and hid her face as she traveled, then was led to a car at Clare station under watchful cameras. Her father said she cares little for rumors, only that the world understands the deep love she had for Smith Reynolds. The couple, driven by fear of fortune loss and a desire to continue together, faced a tragedy that left Libby emotionally withdrawn and recalling few events of the 36 hours surrounding Smith Reynolds’s death. Ab Walker was praised as a true friend who would have given his life for Smith. The Reynolds estate will remain largely closed to the public.
