Beaux the Owl Travel Mascot for CCC Camp No 1
Glacier Park CCC camp No 1 keeps a big horned owl named Beautiful as its pet and mascot. The owl has traveled with the corps through Utah California and Montana. A separate item notes a dog rescue incident where a shepherd dog named Doc helped a farmer escape a bull attack. In Bridgeport Connecticut a faulty ice box caused a small fire attributed to a short circuit. The Finessees feature a humorous desert-themed line about a Sahara Desert game.
