To Coach Mullin, with love
GRAFTON TWP The Belden Boys baseball team lost 13-2 to Columbia Station in a season finale held in memory of coach Pat Mullin who died after a practice. Mullin, 48, suffered a brain aneurysm, his wife Deborah said. Player Mark Hoover recalled Mullin would tell them to relax and have fun despite cameras and pressure. Mullin’s 14-year-old son Bobby pitched the game, driving the first run with a double, as spectators remembered his five years guiding the Hot Stove League squad.
