Vermilion to see beacon off shore next summer
Vermilion will see a replica of the 1877 lighthouse built at the Great Lakes Historical Society Museum. The 34 foot tall structure will use steel plate instead of cast iron and is expected complete by July 1991. Funds aim near 100000 with a Committee of 100 seeking 1000 per member.
