Columbus summer attractions and the state fair

Columbus hosts a month long downtown laser show from July 23 to August 27 and Labor Day weekend. The Ohio State Fair runs August 4 21 drawing millions, with grandstand acts and extensive exhibits. Other events include Picnic with the Pops and Riverfront Jazz Festival plus Rib Fest and Folk Festival. Major attractions include the Columbus Clippers, Scioto Downs racing, Zoo, COSI, and the Cultural Arts Center. The Greater Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau provides information at 10 West Broad Street.
