Elyria woman killed in red light crash police say
Elyria police report a Sunday night crash at North Abbe Road and Route 57 left Sherry Taylor dead. Joshua Thompson, 41, of Elyria faces counts of operating a vehicle impaired after alleged drunken driving, with prior impaired driving charges on his record. Brent Wise, 40, a passenger, and Thompson were injured and hospitalized. condition not released. Internal injuries caused Taylor’s death, and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
