Jones A. Koripan of Avon filed in Lorain County Common Pleas Court a $10,000 damages suit against Anna C. Klingshirn for injuries from a October 4 motorcycle car collision on Jaycox Road in Avon. The complaint lists Koripan as the motorcyclist and Klingshirn as the defendant.
Lorain County welfare director Gerard Prinz expects about a 15 percent drop in GR monthly grants with July 1 implementation, from 95 to 80 for singles and 115 to 95 for childless couples, plus tighter work requirements and a 90 day no-pay period for quitting jobs. The shift aims to stretch funds as a US district court required payments to single adults in other counties.
