Vermilion area events feature gold panning and community offerings
The Vermilion area hosts a fifth annual gold panning event by the Western Reserve Land Conservancy at Lorain County Metro Parks Ver Milton River Reservation from 1 to 2 30 p m on Sunday with free public access and RSVP details. Other notices include theater anniversaries, outdoor music, library programs for children, a 40th Steele High School reunion, Walkin on Wednesday auditions, YMCA summer camps, a book in a jar contest, master gardener programs, giant bubbles for kids, and a discussion on the McCarthy Era at the Amherst post office building.
