Wells Family Foundation hosts first Summer Fun Day Carnival
The Wells Family Foundation hosts a noon to 6 p.m. carnival July 24 at 16951 Mennell Road Grafton with games wagon rides and an arts demo. Proceeds buy school supplies for local children in need while other events build community support and charity.

Golf outing to benefit Midview High hockey team
Midview High School hockey hosts a golf outing on August 6 at Grey Hawk in LaGrange with a 2 to 3 p m shotgun start. The $100 entry includes golf and a steak dinner, and registration is due July 24. Angels Haven horse camp opens at Durkee Road site
Angels Haven Horse Rescue offers a summer camp for ages 5 to 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of August 22 at 13297 Durkee Road Grafton.
