Mystery girl in Ohio case linked to Wiedemann firm

A distressed girl from a stepmother type figure said to be connected to Wiedemann Company paths described a kidnapping plot. Detectives found a note ordering care for the child and a September pickup, with the name C. M. signed on the note. The girl claimed no parents and spoke of a cottage near Traverse City, Michigan, and a limousine meeting with two men. She was taken to Wiedemann house where she collapsed after ingesting a pellet. Independent officials found no drugs or intoxicants on her. She claimed to have boarded at a boarding school near McKeesport, Pennsylvania, and referenced an aunt who arranged her movements to Cincinnati and Latonia race track.
