Couple indicted in child abuse case in Lorain County
Lorain couple Crystal Lowe and Wilbert Fields were indicted on felonious assault and child endangering charges after their 3 year old daughter Ebony suffered a broken leg and injuries. Ebony’s 2 month old sibling was also taken for services. The pair pleaded innocent and are free on bond. The grand jury also returned multiple other indictments for burglary robbery drug offenses and theft involving residents of Lorain and Elyria. A separate notice states a July health fair organized by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Northeast Ohio will occur at Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted offering free health tests and screenings.
