The piece scolds commissioners for indecision on the justice center site while praising Lorain Law Director Michael Scherach and Judge Kosma Glavas for firm actions. It lauds Bert and Trudy Heiser, laments a garage sale theft, and commends Oberlin College President Nancy Dye. The column also blasts CNN, Enquirer, New Republic, and Patricia Smith for ethics breaches and condemns NBA owners and players over the lockout, joking about a Nike factory punishment.
