Oklahoma City flags lifted as grieving eases on Independence Day
Oklahoma City marked Independence Day with flag-raising at the Capitol, honoring 168 victims of the federal building bombing. Gov. Frank Keating said the act restores flags to their rightful place while volunteers from several states joined ceremonies and memories of April 19 began to ease.
