Foltin weighs Lorain Schools treasurer post choice
Lorain City Auditor Craig Foltin will decide by week’s end whether to apply for the Lorain Schools treasurer job. He would earn more money, with city pay at $37,600 and the district treasurer salary around $60,000 to $70,000. The post opens Aug. 31 after Nancy Pena resigns to move out of state. Pena was the interim treasurer since January after Mary Schultz’s contract wasn’t renewed.
