Vermilion boy, 3, drowns in lagoon
A Vermilion area three year old boy, William Hostetter, son of Mr and Mrs Paul Hostetter of 5443 Park Drive, drowned yesterday in the family lagoon. He was pronounced dead at Lorain Community Hospital at 8 07 p m after authorities were notified at 7 45 p m. The Lorain County Coroner will investigate the death.

Bus hijack robs 43 aboard racing fans in Baltimore

A Sea World of Ohio kite flyer slipped from his harness and plunged 100 feet into Geauga Lake before 2,500 spectators. Mike Pare, 20, of Miami Florida, grabbed the bar to break his fall but the kite and he sank. Emer gency squad pulled Pare from the water seconds later and he was treated and released from Suburban Community Hospital for foot cuts and bruises.
