Republic Tech bids reach ten as assets go to auction
FAIRLAWN Republic Technologies International reports ten bids on its assets by the Tuesday deadline. Bids ranged from large asset portions to individual plans and parcels. Lead bidder KPS Special Situations Fund/Hunt Investment offered 450 million for about 60 percent of the company. Local unions and debt holders may use credit bids at the auction in Akron.
