Ohio Legion cancels state convention plans
The Ohio American Legion postponed the state convention and will instead elect officers and consider resolutions at small district conferences across the state. For the first time in 26 years the annual meeting will not be held as ordered by the executive committee under DD T regulations. Candidates already filed include Harry Eaton of Ashland for department commander Dan W Shoeppe of Warren and Dem H Gailbreath of Columbus for vice commander and Joseph T Carney of Cincinnati for treasurer.
