Kipton Rejects Oberlin Water Purchase Plan
Kipton village council rejected buying water from Oberlin as too costly. A main would run south on Rt. 58 and west on Rt. 20, so the village will instead study a pumping station and distribution from a quarry. They will seek federal funds through Rep. Charles Mosher for a 1964 budget of 3,935 dollars.
