Elyria Board Adopts Sixteen Texts for 1958 59
The Elyria City Board of Education approved sixteen new texts for the 1958 59 school year after teacher committees reviewed options. Superintendent F J Gottfried noted texts become law after adoption and are used for four years, though some may last longer. Last year’s book expenses exceeded 40 000, requiring a budget adjustment from other funds.
