Near Finish Of Garsson Case In D C Court
The Garsson brothers press their final plea for exoneration on the charge they bought former congressman Andrew J. May for 53000. Lawyer Charles Margiolti prepared to close the defense after Perry W. Howard’s late afternoon collapse disrupted plans to submit to the jury by tomorrow. The seizure of the 70 year old ex Republican committeeman from Mississippi interrupted the judge’s timetable amid claims of anti Semitic bias involving Army Ordnance officials. The prosecutor William A. Paisley was to respond to the arguments.
