Lorain County deputies investigate two overnight shootings around Elyria Avenue near the 4000 block. A 27 year old Akron man was treated for a gunshot wound at Mercy Regional Medical Center and later at MetroHealth in Cleveland. another man, 29, from Lorain, was treated at Cleveland Clinic Avon and MetroHealth. Deputies recovered shell casings and found an uninjured woman at a house after entry. No IDs or link between the incidents are confirmed. Call county dispatch or sheriff detectives with tips.
