Schools Expand Motion Picture Program With In-House Library
The high school and elementary schools broaden visual education with a growing motion picture library. A. N. Smith directs scheduling and distribution of 170 films valued over 2000 dollars. Films cover safety, geography, history, science, and more. Ohio schools frequently borrow 18 to 20 titles from the State Department of Education. Eight operators run daily showings, including the Friday screening America the Beautiful featuring natural color scenes of Cleveland and the Great Lakes.
