Carrie and John faced a nightmare after a routine ultrasound revealed their unborn daughter Breanna would have severe malformations including no legs, a missing stomach, brain and heart issues. Despite heartbreak, their tenacious care led Breanna to survive and thrive as a normal fifth grader, defying early prognosis.
Carrie and John Sprenger redesigned their Avon house to fit Breanna who uses a wheelchair. The single story ranch features wide halls and a motorized bathroom step, with a pink purple bedroom shared with sister Paighten. The couple welcomed Paighten and later Chase, each adding rooms and joy to the family.
