Lorain Man Burned In Home Fire Leaves Two Injured

A 25 year old Lorain man William Parsons suffered burns over 90 percent of his body and is in critical condition at MetroHealth Medical Center after a fire at 608 Vermont Ave. His sister Pamela and father Edward were lightly injured trying to help. Fire officials are unsure of the fire’s origin with a stove burner mentioned as a possible cause. The home sustained about 500 in damage. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. and his mother Virginia witnessed him covered in flames.
