Investor Q and A covers stock holds and weight loss warnings
A reader asks whether to hold Canadian Pacific shares or switch to growth stock. The column advises holding CP if earnings rise, noting strong freight demand and a modest multiple. Other Qs discuss Texaco dividends, Swift to Esmark, and Kroger versus Heller and Alza choices. A Senate hearing condemns weight loss products and urges diet, exercise, and caution with amphetamines.
