Longtime New Orleans DA Harry Connick Sr. dies at 97
Harry Connick Sr. who led the New Orleans district attorney office from 1973 to 2003 died at age 97 in his home with family nearby. His career included reform efforts and later scrutiny over alleged withholding of evidence. His son, musician Harry Connick Jr., announced the obituary.
