HealthCare.gov enrollment nears target despite legal challenge
About 9.5 million people have signed up for 2015 coverage under the health care law as of mid-January. Through 37 states with a federal exchange and states running their own markets, roughly 9.5 million have enrolled, with Florida and California leading. A Supreme Court case questions subsidies in states without exchanges, potentially altering who gets financial help.
