Lorain woman seeks insurer payment for fire damages
Insurer American Family Manual Insurance asks judge to order Nivule Diar to pay about 60 000 for negligence and arson after her 2003 West 10th Street fire killed her 4 year old son Jacob. Diar was convicted of murder and arson in 2003 and sentenced to death. she is jailed at Ohio Reformatory for Women in Mansfield awaiting appeal.
