Avon Lake and LORCO agree to 13 mile wastewater line
Avon Lake will accept wastewater from Carlisle and Eaton townships via Lorain County Rural Waste Water Authority. The 13 mile pipeline from Eaton to Avon Lake is to be financed with loans and grants, with LORCO paying Avon Lake about 692000 dollars annually and Avon Lake treating about 1.2 million gallons daily. Estimated project completion is four to five years with early servicing in some areas.
