Robert Moog, a New Yorker educated at Queens College, Columbia, and Cornell, leads the firm behind this revolution, hosting lecture weekends at his Trumansburg facility to demystify transient versus random generators in electronic sound design.

His fifty-one books sold nearly two million copies by age 40, aided by a backstory of army service and a postman career. He models Dusty Fog after Audie Murphy, uses gadgetry like a poison ring, and aims for action over realism while expanding into Europe and the United States.
